Bi-Scriptual focuses on the challenges of designing effective communication spanning multiple writing systems. By investigating its underlying structures, namely sociocultural premises, technical requirements, and practical considerations, Bi-Scriptual offers a comprehensive overview of multiscript design today. The book considers eight writing systems, Arabic, Cyrillic, Greek, Hangul (Korean), Hanzi (Chinese), Hebrew, Devanagari (Hindi), and Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana (Japanese), each described by specialists in the field and illustrated through examples of international design.

"If you love type you'll love this book."
