Conceived in collaboration with Martin Gnadt and Pascal Schönegg in 2018, Internal Affairs is a visual interrogation of internships with design studios around the globe. As the interns‘ voices and work usually take the backseat, Internal Affairs aims to highlight the internship experience. More than 60 design interns participated in creating a poster about their experiences. Their poster contributions were exhibited at Porto Design Biennale 2019 and can now be found on the website. Additional contributions include interviews and essays by established designers Holger Jacobs, Kali Nikitas, and Stefan Sagmeister, who regularly work with interns in their studios.
