Anschlag Berlin, in its digital form as an online exhibition, offers a panoramic view of the finest contemporary posters designed by Berlin-based creatives. Guided by the spirit of the time and reflecting the vibrant Berlin design milieu, the showcase features an array of 100 posters. These come from both emerging talents and established design studios, making for a diverse collection.

The curatorial team, Fons Hickmann and Sven Lindhorst-Emme, have sought to encapsulate the wide array of artistic expression flourishing in Berlin. Their chosen pieces challenge the conceptual frontier between art and design, making a statement on their interplay. The curators have also carefully gathered the pieces under a provocative conjecture: "The poster has asserted its position as a standalone art medium."

As part of this project, our task was to transpose this exhibition into a digital format. Our aim was to conceive the website as both a long-lasting exhibition space and as a comprehensive catalogue, ensuring that the content of the exhibition is accessible to an international audience. This initiative allowed the exhibition to transcend geographical barriers, and reach enthusiasts globally, irrespective of their location.

This exhibition was designed to be mobile and has been hosted in several cities worldwide, including Lucerne, Berlin, Beijing, Macau, Xian, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. The accompanying exhibition catalog was brought to the public by Seltmann+Söhne, with the website serving as an extended, always-available digital twin of the physical exhibition.
